Dr. Craig A. Horton

Craig A. Horton DMD, MS is a native of Oconee County, South Carolina.  He graduated from Walhalla High School and enrolled at Presbyterian College, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology.  In 2001, Dr. Horton was accepted into the College of Dental Medicine at the Medical University of South Carolina, where he received a D.M.D. degree in 2005.  He is a recipient of the South Carolina Dental Association Scholarship Award in 2004.  Dr. Horton began his career as a general dentist in Walhalla and Pendleton, South Carolina.  He practiced for two years before returning to a residency in Prosthodontics at the University of Florida.  He earned a Masters of Science in Dental Sciences, as well as a certificate in Prosthodontics, and completed a research project titled, “Dental Habilitation of Congenitally Missing Maxillary Lateral incisors:  Perspectives among dental specialists”.  He served as Chief Resident in his residency and will continue as visiting faculty in the Prosthodontics Department at the University of Florida.

Dr. Horton is excited to return to the Upstate to join his wife, Dr.  Camille Horton, a Pediatric Dentist, in their state-of-the-art facility.

Dr. Horton is currently a member of the American College of Prosthodontics, Academy of Osseointegration, American Dental Association, South Carolina Dental Association, Piedmont Dental Society, and Tri-County Dental Society.  Dr. Horton has received additional advanced training around the country and abroad in Frankfurt, Germany.  This coursework includes courses at the Pikos Implant Institute, Arun Garg’s Implant Seminars, Misch Institute, Dawson Academy, Melker Seminars, and Frankfurt University among others.  Dr. Horton has also given lectures in the field of surgical and restorative implant dentistry for multiple implant companies.

Dr. Horton is dedicated to provide quality dental care at the highest standard of technical excellence.  He treats each patient from a comprehensive approach and serves as a leader of a collaborative team involving general dentists, dental specialists, and lab technicians, to offer his expertise in the specialty of Prosthodontics, including Implant, Esthetic, and Reconstructive Dentistry.


Meet Connie

Connie Vicars is a native of Anderson, South Carolina. She has two children and three beautiful grandchildren that are the love of her life. Connie became a Certified Dental Assistant in 1984.  She has spent the majority of her career working in the field of restorative dentistry. When she heard that a specialist in Prosthodontics was opening, she was quick to join the team. Her experience only compliments her respect for the craft of Prosthodontics. Connie has a kind nature that is evident from her compassion towards each patient. She really has a way of making a trip to the dentist a pleasurable experience.


Meet Sandy

Sandy Perry is a native of Clay Center, Kansas. She is a Graduate of Kansas State University with a BS in Elementary Education. She had a short term modeling career with the Vera Wang collection and then met and followed her husband back to his hometown of Clemson and currently resides in Seneca. She has a son that is attending Clemson University and has become an avid Clemson Tiger fan. She enjoys people and having a personal connection with them.


Meet Jim

Jim Worthington is Issaqueena Prosthodontics’ Executive Business manager. Jim is a Graduate of the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill in the field Mathematics. He continued his education with a Masters in Business Administration from Louisiana State University and is a Certified Public Accountant and member of the AICPA. Jim has spent the majority of his career as a Business Consultant for a variety of different businesses. Jim also is the business manager for Issaqueena Pediatric Dentistry. We are very lucky to have someone of Jim’s experience on the administrative team at Issaqueena Prosthodontics.
